Blackboard Organizations - Student Self Enrollment Instructions

This article explains how to login to Blackboard Learn as a student at California Baptist University.

Resources needed:

  1. Your CBU student ID

  2. Your CBU password

  3. Your chosen Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA) method

  4. The course link

  5. Self Enroll password

 Instructions

  1. Browse to the Blackboard Learn login page at: https://calbaptist.blackboard.com/

  2. Select Log in using Lancer ID

  3. Next, enter your student ID with @calbaptist.edu added.

  4. Enter your CBU password.

  5. Complete the Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA) prompt using your chosen MFA method.

  6. Once you have bee successfully logged in paste the course link into the address bar of your web browser

  7. The course will load an error page to tell you that you are not enrolled. Click the blue text “Click here to enroll.”

  8. The course will load, but will still show an error message. Ignore this and do not click Log In. Instead, at the bottom of the course menu, click the Enroll button

  9. Next, fill in the Access Code you were provided with, then click “Submit” to finish the enrollment

  10. A success screen will load, and you can click the “OK” button to return to the main page of the organization.
