On-Boarding new hires
Review the New Hire ticket (Customer Support – New Hires/Terms/Changes queue) to identify who the user is and their start date
a. Check the parent ticket to see if there are any specific software needs and get computer information if replacing someone.
Prior to the new hires start date, you will need to access the “New Account Info” spreadsheet to get the user name and password.
Once you acquire the credentials access the computer (on site or remotely) using the credentials from the spreadsheet.
a. Set up Outlook and ensure that any needed public folders are favorited and all access needed is available
b. Install any needed software that was requested
c. Log into CrashPlan
d. Add needed printers
Log out of the users profile
a. Open the user’s profile in AD and set the “change password at next login” flag.
