Why are we moving to Laserfiche Cloud?
This transition represents a strategic move that aligns with our ongoing efforts to optimize our operations, enhance security measures, and improve collaboration within our organization. By migrating to Laserfiche Cloud, we will unlock numerous benefits that will streamline our document management processes and provide greater flexibility and accessibility for all users. Key benefits include:
Automatic updates, allowing access to the latest features.
Access from anywhere – VPN or being connected to the CBU network will no longer be required to access Laserfiche.
Access to Laserfiche Cloud specific features.
Improved security and management.
When will the change happen?
The migration process will take place on 6/24/2023. After 6/24, all users will access Laserfiche through the cloud only.
What will happen to existing forms and processes?
All existing business process and forms will be migrated over to Laserfiche Cloud. Any in-progress processes will need to be completed in Laserfiche Cloud. However, after the transition, users will only be able to access cloud hosted forms, processes and repos.
How do I access Laserfiche Cloud?
Signing in to Laserfiche Cloud will be a slightly different process. Please see below for sign-in instructions:
Login site: https://app.laserfiche.com/home?customerID=963810583
Select Sign in with SAML.
Enter your CBU email and password and login.
CBU Laserfiche Cloud help documentation and articles will be coming shortly.
Will public Laserfiche form links change?
Yes, current Laserfiche Form links that are publicly listed will be changed. We will work with individual departments to update the links.
Will accessing the Laserfiche Repository change?
Yes, the repository will also now be hosted in the cloud. Any and all saved documents in the on-prem Laserfiche will be migrated over to the cloud.
